I can’t spend my best friends birthday with her, because that would result in actually being allowed some freedom. Heaven for fucking bid that I ever go outside. 
The reigns are pulled so tightly on me, most the time I’m barely ever even allowed out to see my own fucking father. You say ‘I only do this because I love you and want the best for you,’ when you don’t realise that by keeping me at home all day, everyday, isn’t actually making us any closer, its wedging us even further apart.
Do you ever wonder why I never tell you anything? Or why we don’t have a close relationship like most mothers and their daughters? It’s because you don’t trust me with anything. How can you expect me to trust you and open up to you when we can’t even have a casual conversation?
So, thank you again for ruining another one of many nights and having me hiding in my room in tears again trying to be quiet, because it’s not only impossible to talk to you about anything or show any fucking emotion around you, but also the fact that you “just don’t want to hear it.”
